The ammenities are immaculate and the staff at reception are very kind and helpful, especially when it comes to recommending where to eat and where to get food, groceries ect. We also appreciate that the park went above and beyond to accommodate us as we are travelling with a friend who had a leaky tray where his bed is and the gentleman at the front desk found us a place out of the rain. On arrival picked own site. Jenny suggested a more suited site owing to strong winds. Large site, could have stayed hooked up. Had a small but important repair required on the van. Amenities super clean. hot showers, washing machine, plus al this at very reasonable rates. Only stayed 3 nights as a base to have a look around the area. Weather was against us. Would definitely stay again. Wishing the new owners all the best. They took over as covid the restrictions came into force. With their friendly and welcoming attitude they certainly deserve to do well. read less

This little Park is a gem. The new owners are very friendly and have plans to improve the facilities e.g. camp kitchen etc.. We only stayed overnight but were very pleased with our site. The Amenities block was very clean and adequate.

Walking distance to the amazing Windmills which look fantastic all lit up at night, the Nullabor Links Windmill Hole plus a couple of other free holes to play, the best deli store, a great pub with fabulous meals and a servo with petrol at a decent price. Spend a day down checking out, the Pink & Blue Lakes on the road to the world renown surfing iconic Cactus Beach (with Cactus - left side, Castles - middle and Caves - right side, surfing rolls on the one bay).. then continue on, on that road over the hill and down to Port LeHunte - taking your fishing rod or squid line. The park has great size sites, fantastic amazingly clean facilities, hot showers, and new commercial washing machines. Say hi to Mick and Jenn, the new owners, they are beautiful people. read less

Greeted by extremely friendly and accommodating owners. Our cabin is generous and spotlessly clean & comfortable. Well positioned next to windmill museum and easy walk to local hotel for evening meal. Return walk was breathtaking - hadn’t realised SO many stars in the night sky, after the most amazing sunset. We stayed here last year and it is a superb caravan park with the cleanest facilities i have ever encountered. Penong is the town with the display of some 15 windmills. The Penong Hotel is 150 meter and serves very good meals and is great to have a chat with the locals.

7 of us stayed in this park. Our check in was friendly and efficient. We stayed two nights and the rate was very affordable. The park is very tidy and the amenitites extremely clean. We would definitely stay again.

The owners of the park have gone out of their way... read moreThe caravan park in Penong like other attractions in town has gone through a high level of modernisation to suit the market, the park just behind town next to the windmills is a very pleasant location and free of traffic noise. The owners of the park have gone out of their way to ensure that for the relatively low price of $30 all vans have access to good power and water, modern toilets and showers, large parking in drive through sites and a 5 minute walk into the supermarket and pub in town on the main street, even the fuel stop in town has been upgraded and still sells the fuel at a very good price for those heading west, or just coming off the Nullarbor. read less

Arrived late notice while driving a new car from Perth to Tasmania. We arrived late. Booked a cabin with no issues. Cabin was clean and park was lovely. We both recommend this park highly. You should stop here

We are at the campground for the night.We wish we could stay longer. It's a wonderful campground with white sandy ground. The facilities are in the top five of all the campground 's we have stayed at over the last 3. Very clean. We would certainly tell friends to book in here

We booked into a cabin for the night on our way to Vic and must say that we were plesently surprised to find we had a spacious 2 bedroom unit with ensuite plus kitchen and so clean neat and tidy. We will be back on our way home to the West. Thanks so much

This caravan park is neat, tidy and has very clean amenities. The owners are friendly and helpful. The washing machines are also clean and virtually new. Fresh drinking water and close to town. Great place to stop before/after crossing Nullarbor plain.
